Working for you and the environment
The Waterfront Place Property Management team are committed to
improving our efficiencies in energy and water. As a result, the
building has moved its rating from 2 stars to 4 stars - officially
considered 'excellent' by the Green Council of Australia."
Recently Waterfront Place was awarded a NABERS Energy rating of
4.5 Stars and a Water rating of 4 Stars which is classified by DECC

ENERGY
Due to our investment in metering all of our common area, and
along with our new Building Management System, we are able to
monitor and maintain, thus improve the efficiency of our services.
We are always looking at ways to improve our energy efficiencies.
WATER
Water efficient bathrooms, tap flow restrictors and efficient
fittings are used throughout the building. Also, we have a
full floor WC replacement program underway, which includes
waterless urinals.
WASTE
We believe that understanding waste is also a critical part of
sustainability. Two years ago we implemented a full recycling
program (Paper, Co Mingling and General Waste). Full building
reports are showing a 'good' diversion from landfill.
We have engaged a waste consultant to partner with us, and audit
all our client individual waste, and recommend further ways to
improve our foot print, and thus recycling rates.
In summary we believe that sustainability is about partnering for
better outcomes. The Waterfront Place Management Team is
already working with our customer's sustainability groups to
facilitate better outcomes.
One of our initiatives is installing 'smart metering' for clients
to better manage and monitor their own energy information.
